To Make Chicken Filling
Chicken - 200 Gms
Salt - 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tsp
Oil - 2 Tsp
Onion - 1 Nos Finely Chopped
Green Chilli - 2 Nos Finely Chopped
Curry Leaves
Coriander Powder - 1 Tsp
Cumin Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 Tsp

To Make Batter
Besan Flour - 1 1/2 Cup
Rice Flour - 1 Tbsp
Salt - 1/2 Tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp

Oil For Deep Frying


In a pressure cooker add chicken pieces, potatoes, water, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, chili powder, salt
Mix well
Pressure cook it for about 4-5 whistles on medium flame
Remove the bones and shred the chicken pieces
Heat a pan with some oil, add onions, green chilies, curry leaves
Saute the onions
Add the chicken and potatoes and mix well
Add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder and mix everything well
Add the chicken stock and mix it along
Once excess moisture is evaporated from the filling, add coriander leaves and mix well
The filling is ready, keep it aside
In a bowl, add gram flour, rice flour, salt, red chili powder
Mix everything well and gradually add water and mix well to get a thick batter
Take a small amount of the filling and make balls
Dip it into the batter
Heat some oil for deep frying
Deep fry the bondas on medium flame till they turn golden in color
Serve the Chicken Bondas hot with some coconut chutney or mint chutney.
