Gobi Manchurian

Gobi / Cauliflower - 1 no.
Maida / All purpose flour - 3 Tbsp
Corn Flour - 1&1/2 Tbsp
Chilli powder - 1 Tbsp
Oil for deep frying

For the Sauce:
Oil - 2 Tbsp
Garlic - few cloves (finely chopped)
Ginger - a small piece (finely chopped)
Few spring onions
Capsicum - 1 no. (finely chopped)
Soy sauce - 3 Tsp
Chilli Sauce - 3 Tsp
Ketchup - 2 Tbsp
Pepper - 1/2 Tsp

1. Boil water with a little salt
2. Cook the cauli florets for 2 minutes. Then strain and keep aside
3. In a bowl, add maida, corn flour, chilli powder and salt
4. Add water and mix to a thick batter consistency
5. Now add the florets and coat them with the batter
6. Heat oil and deep fry the coated florets till golden brown. Keep them aside
7. In a pan, heat oil. Add garlic, ginger, spring onions, capsicums and saute well
8. Add soya sauce, chilli sauce, and ketchup. Mix well
9. Add pepper and salt.
10. Finally, add the fried florets and mix gently so that the sauce is coated all over
That's it! your gobi/cauliflower manchurian is ready to serve!
