Motorola Moto G9 Play Review | Budget Price, Big Battery
By Pakka Admin - Sep 11,2020
Reviewing Motorola's Moto G9 Play after a week of using it as my full-time phone, with real life camera, performance and battery life experiences. This is one of the best value budget smartphones of 2020 so far at around £150 UK, although it doesn't do anything to stand out from the crowd. And while the X50 5G is still Motorola's crowning achievement of this year, the Moto G9 Play will satisfy most users at half the price.
Thanks to the Snapdragon 662 chipset backed by 4GB RAM, you can indulge in light gaming on PubG and the like. Plus even with fairly heavy use, you can enjoy roughly two days of use per charge courtesy of the 5000mAh battery. You also have a respectable triple lens camera, which can capture decent photos in good lighting conditions. You've even got a night mode to help out with low light shots.
Of course, the Motorola G9 Play (or just plain old G9 in India) is up against tough competition as you'll see from my best budget smartphones of 2020 round-up. Xiaomi's Redmi 9 and Poco X3, plus the new Realme 7, will offer strong value for money. Check out my full reviews of the greatest affordable handsets to hit the UK for more inspiration.
